Members of County Assemblies from Kakamega, Bungoma, Trans-Nzoia, and Busia counties led by MCA of Mahiakalo Ward Cleophas Malala addressing the press at Golf Hotel, Kakamega, alleging that the removal of Budalang’i MP Ababu Namwamba as Chairperson of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) was influenced by top officials of Orange Democratic Movement as part of a scheme to also remove him as Secretary-General of ODM. They threatened to leave ODM if attempts were made to remove Namwamba from the position. April 19, 2015.
