Minister for Lands Mr. James Orengo waited for the ruling of the chairman on whether he would testify at the ongoing Cockar commission, which was investigating the controversial sale of the Grand Regency Hotel. The chairman later ruled on Tuesday, September 9, 2008, that Orengo must appear to testify on Wednesday, September 10, 2008, at 9:30 a.m. in Nairobi.
