Description

Peace dividends: A vehicle crosses Kapedo bridge on the Chemolingot-Kapedo road, at the border of Baringo and Turkana counties on February 03, 2025. The section has claimed several lives in the past including security officers due to ambush by bandits at the rugged terrain but is now safe to cross due to the prevailing peace. Locals have asked to the government to tarmac the road and open up the area for investments and also access to tourists-rich sites in the region.
