Treasury Principal Secretary Dr. Chris Kiptoo accompanied by Kesses MP Julius Ruto and other officials addresses the press during the laying of a foundation stone for the construction of Co-operative University of Kenya, Kileges Campus in Ainabkoi Constituency, Uasin Gishu County on March 13, 2026. Kiptoo, who was the chief guest, said that Kenya as for now has enough foreign reserves to cushion the shilling against shocks from the on-going Israel, United States-Iran war that has caused disruptions in the Middle East but hoped the war will end soon before it impacts negatively to Kenya.
