Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Professor Wangari Maathai (left) and Mrs. Alice Ndegwa of African Extension team, shortly after she planted a tree at Uhuru Park’s Freedom Corner in Nairobi on March 23, 2010. She had accompanied Mr. Eberhard Wirfs, President of Lions Clubs International. Mr. Wirfs has been in the country later left yesterday for Nigeria.
