Speaking a week after President Uhuru Kenyatta asked Central Kenya MPs to lead in weeding out the alcohol menace, Kabogo said he would facilitate resource persons to assist in the rehabilitation process of locals who are heavily dependent on alcohol. The church is organizing a rehabilitation and support programme for people with alcohol dependence and their families. The governor further advised locals to spare property in the ongoing campaign against illicit brew.
