Description

Kakamega Senator Dr. Boni Khalwale is mobbed by enthusiastic residents at Lirhembe village, Kakamega County. On Saturday, December 10, 2016, Khalwale took his campaign to the grassroots, where he assured Kenyans that the opposition was now stronger than ever. He highlighted the significant move by ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi to join forces with Raila Odinga (ODM), Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), and Moses Wetangula (Ford Kenya) to form a united front. Khalwale asserted that this quadruple alliance—which would soon be formally unveiled as the National Super Alliance (NASA)—was the only sure way to defeat the Jubilee administration in the 2017 General Election. He urged the “Mulembe” nation to remain steadfast, promising that whoever among the four leaders was picked as the presidential flag-bearer would have the full backing of the region. The Senator emphasized that unity of purpose would ensure the opposition secured a decisive victory to address the country’s economic and governance challenges. December 10, 2016.
