Description

Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen tours the Huduma Centre in Nanyuki town during his visit to the county on July 31, 2025. He warned retired officers from the disciplined forces against engaging in politics, claiming there are plans to form a military wing of the opposition. He said such officers will be put under strict surveillance. Murkomen also defended the government’s position in charging certain individuals with terrorism, urging the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) and civil rights bodies to allow the courts to determine the matter.
