Ministry of Mining, Blue Economy, and Maritime Affairs Hon. Salim Mvurya addresses journalists at his office located at Works Building, Nairobi on March 8, 2023. He told the press that Kenya is going to establish a Solar Powered Cold Chain Storage Facility along the shores of Lake Turkana. The Facility will be funded by Blue Economy and Fisheries, Private investors and the government of Netherlands. This project will help improve fish Quality to acceptable standards thus raising increment in foreign exchange earnings by selling fish to other countries.
